Key Responsibilities

• Safely remove asbestos-containing materials in accordance with HSE regulations and company procedures
• Erect and dismantle asbestos enclosures and decontamination units
• Operate specialist asbestos removal equipment including negative pressure units and HEPA filtration systems
• Complete detailed site documentation and records
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site cleanliness
• Conduct air monitoring and clearance testing procedures
• Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements including proper use of RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment)

Requirements

Essential

• Valid IATP/ARCA asbestos removal license
• Medical surveillance certification (fit to wear RPE)
• CSCS card
• Previous experience in licensed asbestos removal
• Good understanding of HSE regulations and safe working practices
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred

• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• Confined space training
• Working at height certification
• Demolition experience
