Key Responsibilities

• Undertake licensed asbestos removal works in commercial and industrial settings
• Set up and maintain asbestos enclosures and decontamination facilities
• Operate negative pressure units and air filtration equipment
• Complete daily work logs and inspection records
• Ensure compliance with Control of Asbestos Regulations
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Maintain equipment in good working order
• Support junior team members and trainees

Requirements

Essential

• Current IATP/ARCA asbestos removal license
• Valid medical surveillance certificate
• CSCS card
• Minimum 1 year licensed asbestos removal experience
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Team player with good communication skills
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations

Preferred

• Supervisory qualifications (SSSTS/SMSTS)
• Asbestos awareness training
• First aid certification
• Experience with different types of asbestos (sprayed, AIB, lagging, etc.)
